Since 2015, Bamboo Bike Tours has been working to promote a project that encourages responsible tourism in Barcelona, committed to sustainability and respect for the local environment.

We organize tours of the most emblematic and hidden corners of the city, always in small groups to respect the peace and quiet of residents, using locally-made bamboo bikes to offer sustainable urban mobility solutions.

Our goal is to minimize environmental impact and support the local economy through sustainable products, local craftsmanship, and fair trade. Our mission is to contribute to the circular economy through the use of locally-made bamboo bikes, an urban mobility solution that reduces the carbon footprint. In addition to supporting local craftsmanship and promoting fair trade, we aim to have a positive economic impact on the community by encouraging sustainable products and working with local suppliers.

This is where our new "Ethika Bikes" models come into play. By producing them in Barcelona, we hope to develop and promote local craftsmanship. Craftsmanship is a blend of human expertise and high-quality materials. With this in mind, we have partnered with bamboo producers and are co-managing a 5,000m² bamboo plantation in Lleida, Catalonia.
